Joplin Rotts & Knee Deep Farm, LLC is the result of two people, Stefany
Hemmer & Lisa Muller, partnering to combine an already established Rottweiler kennel, Joplin Rottweilers (est. in 1997) and "Knee Deep Farm",
which was Lisa's homestead from the beginning.
We are proud of our
Rottweilers and our Pygmy and
Boer/Boer cross goats. Our partnership began in 2006 on our farm in Chestertown, Maryland. We are
nestled on 14 acres of
partly wooded and partly pastured land on Maryland's lovely eastern
shore. Our goats enjoy a view of our 1/2 acre
freshwater pond upon which geese and duck settle in the warm months of spring and summer.
The dogs have newly renovated kennel paddocks with indoor/outdoor insulated
runs. We have a completely fenced in yard for regular exercise. We also feed a combination of quality kibble, raw chicken, venison, organ meat,
and raw-meaty bones. We have found that conditioning and superior genetics
combine to produce superior animals with sound bodies and temperaments.
We enjoy showing our animals in conformation competitions. We attend 3-4
goat shows each year, and several more dog shows a year, including our national and regional specialties.
It is important to us to maintain membership in the following organizations:
The American Rottweiler Club, The Colonial Rottweiler Club, The National
Pygmy Goat Association, The North Carolina Pygmy Goat Association, the Keystone State Pygmy Goat Club, and the American Boer Goat Association.
Thanks for visiting our website, and we hope you will contact us about our
animals, or if you have any ideas or questions for us!
